the title pretty much says it all. who do u guys think should be president in 2008? a republican, democrat, independent, who?
id prefer a a left leaning democrat or independent.

they aren't what they used to be, they have lost themselves
i believe a republican since independents got no chance
and somebody with some more brains

republicans are far worse than democrats imo. they are way to far to the right. ideally id want a democratic socialist or a left leaning independent, but a moderate democrat will have to do. trouble is that some democrats are almost as conservative as some republicans.
of course there are decent republicans. john mcain perhaps. and of course ones who are dead like ike, lincoln and teddy. as far as i can tell, some of the more conservative republicans are aproaching the fascist end of the spectrum.
